This outgoing, friendly sorrel mare came to Changing Leads in August 2011. She is most likely a Tennessee Walker cross, about 6 years. Dam of "Rosie" (born May 2011). However, she did not just arrive with her filly Rosie when she came to Changing Leads. She was also pregnant when she arrived at our rescue. Before arriving at Changing Leads, she was turned out with stallions - and mares are often bred 7 days after they give birth (called a foal heat.) We welcomed her filly on May 2, 2012. |
